We had a great time entertaining friends and colleagues at our Canada Day pancake breakfast.  Friends came to the rescue with water after our street experienced a bursting pipe, and Violet called in reinforcements to help with a power breaker problem.  Both water and power were restored, Dad's pancakes went like hotcakes, and everyone loved the maple syrup.  I love this house for entertaining, and look forward to hosting more parties in the future.

    1. I paid a visit to Canadian Heritage before I left for tattoos, pins, and flags, and picked up the face paint, crayons, and bubbles here.
